125 B Street Lofts Now Sold Out

According to the Boston MLS, as of March 14, 2008, the last two lofts at 125 B Street Lofts are now under agreement. Built in 1856, the former schoolhouse was converted into high-end lofts in 2006. The 16 lofts in the building sold relatively quickly, save the last two units.

The exposed brick and soaring ceilings makes these units feel very large, and B Street is substantially more quiet than A Street in terms of road noise. As northern South Boston continues to get built out, resale units in this development will be sought after.

Comments

  1. These really are great units with very nice finishes and I seriously considered the purchase of one not too long ago. A few area of concern were:

    1. They are very fancy…everything shines. It was almost too much.

    2. What they consider to be first floor units are actually basement units, what they consider to be second floor units are actually first floor units and so on.

    3. Parking is outdoors.

Although they looked to be incredibly well built, these three issues prevented me from making an offer, with the latter having the most impact.
